It Left Me Cold is a physical re-enactment of fabricated materials against an exposed, brutalist and rudimentary framework. The work is anthropomorphic in scale and gesture. A fragile ephemeral wool cloth bears scars of stitching to the viewer braced against or clinging to stacked, raw, building materials. The text is reflective in its approach: a subjective rueful rumination on objectified events, inviting the viewer to concretise yet re-contextualise narrative.
